How to search Arizona's public rate and form filings
- Arizona's Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions says documents insurers must file with it are presumed to be public records and are open to public inspection. Source
- The department's P&C general filing instructions say it may also make public records available online. Source
- Arizona law (A.R.S. 20-386) directs the insurance director to open filings under its rate-regulation article, with their supporting information, to public inspection at any reasonable time, except trade secrets. Source
- A filed document that qualifies as containing trade secrets is recorded in SERFF as not viewable by the public. Source
